Ten Tips for Being More Truthful

  1. Make a commitment to tell the truth.                                                                                                            
  2. Tell someone about your commitment.                                                                                                 
  3. Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, sarcasm, or reason.                                                      
  4. Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony.                                                    
  5. Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.                                                                                 
  6. Don't indulge in little white lies.                                                                                                               
  7. Watch out for silent lies.                                                                                                                            
  8. When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse.                                                            
  9. Talk to yourself.                                                                                                                                      
  10. Treat yourself when you tell the truth.
Why is being truthful important? Well trust is important because it lets you be yourself and who you truly are. Honesty and trust take a great deal of confidence, but it is worth it. These ten tips are great help to better yourself. Sometimes lying can lead to a lot of trouble and problems that we can simply avoid. These ten tips can benefit me in being more trustworthy and if i tell others about my commitment then they will trust me more. For example i can make a commitment to my mom that i will tell her every single thing that happens without throwing in white lies. This can help our relationship gain trust and at the same time make it stronger. Another example would be whenever i am trying to cover for my brother and telling her he is improving his grades i will reverse my wself or just simply tell her the truth. I will incorporate the ten tips in to my life planning goals by writing down goals that i know i will achieve and not goals that are just there to be on the list.

My Personal Improvement  Its not much about being better or being good as others say, It is more about changing the  way in which i was doing things. Before i wouldn't care towards making a decision I would just go ahead straightforward to get it over with. i now look at it from different angles the benefit and consequences. i am not saying to overthink it but i am suggesting to think before you act even if it is gossip you can see yourself involved by just telling a friend. A good meal is and will always be the key to your moods. I personally before would eat so much junk food and would always feel lazy and drowsy.
